What Happens if I Go Over My Plan Order Limit?
Let’s break down what happens if your orders go above the limit in your Better Shipping plan and how you can navigate through it.
1. First Time: Going Over the Limit
- What Happens: Even if you go over your limit, your shipping rates will still work as usual - no issues there!
- Your Notification: You’ll get an email from us letting you know you’ve gone over and it might be a good idea to upgrade your plan.
- What To Do: To upgrade, go into the app, click "Account" on the left side menu, hit "Change Plan," and choose a new plan that fits your store better.
2. Second Month in a row: Nearing the Limit
- Before the Limit: If you’re getting close to the limit again, we'll send you another email to give you a heads-up.
- What To Do: Consider upgrading your plan to avoid your shipping rates being paused at checkout. Click "Account" in the app, hit "Change Plan," and pick a better-suited plan.
3. Second Month in a row: If You Go Over Again
- What Happens: Your Better Shipping shipping rates will be paused and will not show at checkout if you go over the limit for the second month in a row.
- What To Do: To remove restrictions, upgrade your plan. Inside the app click "Account" and then "Change Plan" and choose a higher plan.
If You've Upgraded and Go Over the New Plan Limit
- Back to Square One: We’ll send you the first-month email again and there won’t be any shipping restrictions.
- What To Do: Keep an eye on your orders and if needed, upgrade again via "Account" > "Change Plan" in the app.
Keeping Track of Orders and Billing
- You can always check your order numbers and when the next billing cycle is by going to "Account" in the app.
